The 'Iwa bird is the largest and one of the most famed birds of Hawai'i. 'Iwa is also the Hawaiian word for "thief", which is a reflection of the birds many hunting strategies. The 'iwa appears in many mo'olelo and is an important figure in Hawai'i, which is why we were inspired to create this print and match our kāne board shorts.
